West Sacramento residents have been excited to see activity at the site of the old Sail Inn on Jefferson Blvd.

Now, the owners of what Esquire Magazine calls one of the top 25 of "The Best Bars in America," the Shady Lady Saloon, are re-imaginging it.

The bar/restaurant will be opening early next week and feature a nautical theme to coincide with the new artwork out front.

"Patrons can expect a seafood heavy menu consisting of 10 items," says one of the owners Jason Boggs. "Drinks are rum centric, including frozen daiquiris and pina coladas."

The Sail Inn's new hours will be from 11am to 2am, serving lunch and dinner.  Food will be served until 10pm.
